The Maria Fortner Foundation was founded in 2025, the year the Fortner family lost their Sweet Maria. Their hope is to honor her life, through the things and people she held closest to her heart. We strive to Live like Maria by helping young students broaden their education, advocating for Cancer Patients and keeping her legacy alive, sharing her love and compassion with each one of you.

Our hope is Maria’s legacy will live on forever through this foundation. As we strive to help students earn their degree, improve and support local hospitals, and help advocate for other cancer patients and their families. We pray that each of you never stops living like Maria did. Our hope is to honor people and causes that were close to her heart and help others live like Maria.
